All Sports Coaching<\/strong> Martial Arts Jiu Jitsu & Meditation
\nKyokushinkai<\/em>\u00a0founded by Masutatsu Oyahama, born in Korea who paid already much attention to Tang Su and the later Te Kwon Do. He was also a student of Funakoshi Sensei. who teached him the Shotokan style Karate. Then he trained with master Gogen.
\nHe also learned to kempo Sawai Kenici. Later he went to Thailand to join the Thai boxing practice. Of all the martial arts together he made a style he called Kyokushinkai (kyoku = extreme, Shin = truth, kai = association). What is especially different about this style is that everything is full contact practice. This style can be recognized by it’s realistic techniques. Oyahama was particularly looking for techniques that were effective in a real fight. This style of karate is one of the first styles that was trained in the Netherlands. By 1960, the first Kyokushinkai Championships in the Netherlands was a fact. Kenneth Leeuwin, multiple world champion karate in the 80ties was my trainer of kyokushinkai at All Sports. I also trained Jiu Jitsu for 15 years with Robert Kolff and later Martin de Vries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
